mysterious sighting at the met

New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art is a favorite backdrop for mysteries and other such stories. Accordingly, we find ourselves answering calls about this location frequently and often these investigations are for naught. This time, we should have sent backup as we finally discovered a moment of truth proving stranger than fiction.

One of our agents was sent to investigate the American Wing only to find himself in a staring contest with someone, or something, standing by a window on the second floor.

The glowing eyes glared down for nearly 30 seconds before the dark figure disappeared. Further investigation found four witnesses claiming only to have spotted an individual in a black cloak running through a corridor into the Marmion Room and mysteriously vanishing. The door to the Alexandria Ballroom was secured, seemingly leaving only the entrance through the corridor for escape. Thorough examination concluded that no alternative exits from the gallery exist.
